Petitioners pray that the law may be so amended as to allow an extended period, up to ninety-nine years, for leasing lands in the Orakei Block.

I am directed to report that, as this refers to a question of policy, the Committee has no recommendation to make, but is of opinion the petition should be referred to the Government.
