Nos. 300 and 301.—Petitions of Ihaia te Awanui and 11 Others and M. T. Erueti and 9 Others.

Petitioners pray that the Maoris may be deprived of the right to will away their lands.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that these petitions be referred to the Government for consideration, with others of like nature already reported on this session.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakakorea te mana o nga Maori e ahei nei ratou ki te wira i o ratou whenua.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu enei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria, hui atu ki etahi atu pitihana penei auo te ahua kua oti nei te ripoata i tenei tuunga o te Paremete.
