No. 259, 1897.—Petition of Hone Tuhata (John Damon).
Petitioner alleges that he and two other members of his family have been wrongfully deprived of their interests in the Ngarara Block, and prays that legislation may be passed to enable them to obtain their rights.
I am directed to report that the Committee, having gone thoroughly into this case, has no recommendation to make in regard to the same.
