Nos. 191 and 192, 1897.—Petitions of Te Kahui Kararehe and Riria Tinirongoa.

Petitioners pray that a clear title may be issued to them individually for Sections 118, 119, 128, 129, and 166, Ngatihaupoto Block, Block 2, Opunake.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the Government should direct the Public Trustee to send the Natives written notification of the same tenor as the information contained in his report to the Committee, dated the 12th November, 1897.

E inoi aua nga kai-pitihana kia whakaputaina he tiwhikete marama ki ia tangata o raua mo Tekiona 118, 119, 128, 129, me 166 o Ngatihaupoto Poraka, Poraka 2, Opunake.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me whakahau e te Kawanatanga te Kai-tiaki mo te Katoa kia tukuna atu e ia he whakaatu-a-tuhituhi ki nga Maori, a me rite te aronga o nga korero o roto i aua whakaatu ki nga korero o tana ripoata ki te Komiti, i tuhia nei e ia i te 12 o Noema, 1897.
