No. 77.—Petition of Taipari Heihei.
Petitioner complains that his people are becoming identified with the Maori Kotahitanga (Parliament), and prays that certain taxes may not be imposed in the Mangamuka district, in order that his tribe may be kept loyal to the Government of New Zealand.
I have the honour to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition.

No. 77.—Pitihana a Taipari Heihei.
