No. 264.—Petition of Te Keepa Matanohi and 8 Others.

Petitioners state that land, known as Nuhaka Block, has been wrongfully taken by Government. They pray for inquiry and redress.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommend that this petition be referred to the Government for consideration.

No. 264.—Pitihana a Te Keepa Matanohi me etahi atu tokowaru.

E ki ana nga kai-pitihana ko tetahi whenua tona ingoa ko Nuhaka Poraka kua tangohia hetia e te Kawanatanga. E inoi ana ratou kia uiuia a kia whakaorangia to ratou mate.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro a te Komiti me tuku tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria.
