No. 267.—Petition of Nepia te Atu and 51 Others.

Petitioners pray for a rehearing in regard to Te Arai-Matawai Block.

I am directed to report that the Committee are of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government, with the recommendation that legislation be provided to meet this and all similar cases.

No. 267.—Pitihana a Nepia te Atu me etahi atu e rima tekau ma tahi.

E inoi ana nga kai pitihana mo tetahi whakawa tuarua mo Te Arai-Matawai Poraka.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga, me te whai kupu atu ano kia mahia he ture e taea ai te whakahaere o tenei keehi me nga keehi katoa e penei ana te ahua.
