No. 188.—Petition of Wi Pere.

Petitioner states that, in consequence of certain lists having been lost by the Native Land Court, he and others have been omitted from ownership of part of Kopa-a-Tauaki Block.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommend that this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration.

E ki ana te kai-pitihana na runga i te ngaronga o etahi rarangi ingoa i te Kooti Whenua Maori i kore ai ia me etahi atu e uru ki te rarangi ingoa o nga tangata i whakataua ki a ratou tetahi taha o Kopa-a-Tauaki Poraka.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro a te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria paitia.
