No. 116.—Petition of Hannah Cassin.

Petitioner states that she has been wrongfully excluded from lists of owners of lands in the Rohepotae, and that she is now landless. She prays that her name may be inserted in the title of all the land in which her mother was an owner, or that other relief may be granted.

I am directed to report that the Committee find the petitioner has a just claim to consideration, and they recommend that Government should introduce the necessary legislation to enable her name to be inserted into the title of the land in question.
