[No. 641, 1894.—Petition of Marara Nukai and 6 Others.]

No. 641, 1894.—Petition of Marara Nukai and 6 Others.

Petitioners pray that an agreement to reserve portions of the Ahuriri Block, made when the sale to the Government took place, may be confirmed.

I am directed to report that, as no papers have been placed before the Committee for its guidance, it is recommended that the Government should refer the matter to the Stipendiary Magistrate at Napier for inquiry.
