Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1896.

[No. 44.—Petition of Tairiri Papaka and 14 Others.]

No. 44.—Petition of Tairiri Papaka and 14 Others.

Petitioners complain that the Omahaki-te-Kohurau Block was put through the Native Land Court by Mrs. Donnelly unknown to them, and wrongfully awarded to her alone. They pray for reinvestigation.

I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition.

21st August, 1896.
