Petitioners pray that a rehearing may be granted in regard to the Whakapau Block.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the Government make inquiries as to whether the land in question is held in trust by those named in the certificate of title, and if such is found to be the case, then the necessary steps should be taken to restore to the petitioners their alleged rights.
