No. 266.—Petition of Rawiri Kahia and 22 Others.

Petitioners, who are owners of a block of land called Owhaoko, in the district of Taupo, pray that page 27an Act may be passed to validate the proceedings of the Native Land Court held at Taradale, and also to enable the Court now sitting at Hastings to investigate that block.

I am directed to report as follows: That, after hearing Mr. Lewis's explanation, the Committee has no recommendation to make.
