No. 252, Sess. II.—Petition of Wiremu Poakatahi.
Petitioner prays that he may be paid the sum of £80 for forty head of cattle which were handed over one George Patterson to settle a difficulty.
I am directed to report as follows: That the Committee is of opinion that Wiremu Poakatahi has no claim on the Government in respect of his petition.
