The Bluff,

We, the undersigned shiefs of the Ngaitahu and Ngatimamoe tribes, acknowledge to have received from Henry Tacy Clarke the respective sums of money opposite our names, as our share of the consideration paid for all our interests, and the interests of our people to Rakiura (Stewart's Island).
