Note.—The majority of the areas given of the reserves in Queen Charlotte Sound can only be taken as approximate. A landing place of about ten acres at Pareuka, and a small burial place at Makihipaua (situated on Section 11) were also set apart for the Pelorus Natives in 1856. There is also a small reserve, of about one acre in extent, at a place named Piripaua, beyond Mikonui, set apart in 1865 by the Provincial Government of Marlborough.
