Copy of letter from Superintendent of Nelson, to Board of Management of Native Reserves at Nelson.

Superintendent's Office, Nelson, July 7th, 1848.

Gentlemen,—

I do myself the honour to inform you that His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to appoint you to be a Board of Management of Native Reserves for the Nelson district. At the same time, I beg leave to forward to you, for your guidance and information, a copy of a letter, dated the 21st ultimo, from the Colonial Secretary of New Munster, on the subject of the reserves.
