[Note added by Bob O'Brien as transcriber:]
The last items worth recording from Folder 38 are a sample of narratives written by Hall's students at Takamoa. Most are dated 29 April 1915. Hall appears to have asked them to write down their home island version of the Maui myth. The writers and their islands are identified in most cases. Not all islands are represented and there is occasional repetition.
