What The Kea's Saw

Thats them,
moving up the valley
steeper on the chin
and now over the lip
easing their way along a moist floor.

There was silence(and the stream scuffed it's toes)
there was hot sun(the trees fanned themselves)
there were white flowers(and the dark rock watched)

tall dark rock walls(orc walls)
guarding the head;
they had come to the valley....
of darkness.
