It is reported that Messrs D. and J. C. Syme, the proprietors of the Melbourne Age newspaper, divided £70,000 of profits last year.
On Saturday, 29th September, the Melbourne Argus newspaper consisted of twenty-eight pages of eight columns per page, or 224 columns in all. It is said that this is the largest daily which has been published in the world. [The Sydney Morning Herald, of 24th January last, contained thirty pages.]
