Vesting of Land in Maori Land Boards.

4. Governor may declare certain land subject to Act.
5. Such land to vest in Maori Land Board.

Leases.

27. Leases to be by public auction or public tender.
28. Land may be leased for fifty years without right of renewal.
29. Lessee entitled to valuation of improvements.

Transfers and Subleases.

33. Purchaser or lessee not to assign within two years, and only with consent of Board.
34. Executors or administrators of deceased lessee or purchaser may assign.

Registration of Titles.

35. Registrar to issue certificate of title to Maori Land Board.
36. Land Transfer Act to apply.
37. Contraot of sale may be registered against title of Board.

Miscellaneous.

38. Advances out of Publio Works Fund for purpose of surveys, &c. Repayment of such advances.
39. No land to be offered for sale or lease until satisfactorily roaded and bridged.
40. Application of revenues derived from land.
41. Power to invest proceeds of sale in certain cases.
42. Moneys payable into Maori Land Board accounts.
43. Appointment and remuneration of officers.
44. Contracts to be under seal of Board.
45. Other Acta as to Native land to be subject to this Act.
