Tomato and Celery Soup
Tomato and Celery Soup.
2 lbs. tomatoes, 3 onions, 1 cup barley, 1 pint milk, 2 quarts hot water.
Boil tomatoes and barley in the water for two hours. Strain and add milk. Bring to boiling point and season to taste.page 60
