[section]

From Commissioner J. Cunningham, the Commissioner's Office, Salvation Army, Wellington, to the Controller, Railways Refreshment Branch, Wellington:—

Now that the Dominion tour of General and Mrs. Higgins has ended and I have found a few minutes to settle down quietly to office business, I wish to thank you, and the members of your staff, most sincerely for the splendid service you rendered to us during that time, and for all the kindness shown in connection with the same. Really, we found everybody in your Department not only willing but eager to do all in their power to assist us, and I appreciate it all more than I can say.
