Mr. John Henderson
Mr. John Henderson , Sometime Of “Craigend,” Winton, Is The Eldest Son Of The Late Mr. Walter Henderson, And Was Born In page 993 1858. He Was Educated At The Forest Hill District School And Afterwards Worked Upon His Father's Farm For Several Years. In 1881, He Purchased A Farm Of 521 Acres, One Of The Best Properties In The District. The Land Yields From Forty To Sixty Bushels Of Oats Per Acre And From Twenty To Forty Bushels Of Wheat. A Considerable Portion Of The Farm Is Laid Down In Grass, And Carries Two Sheep To The Acre. Mr. Henderson Has Been Twice Married; On The First Occasion To Miss Findlay, And On The Second To Miss Sarah Jane Evans.
