Cameron's Mataura Hotel
Cameron's Mataura Hotel (Hugh Cameron, proprietor), Main Street, Mataura. The hotel, which is of two stories, is built of wood and iron, and contains thirty-three rooms, including two dining-rooms with accommodation for seventy guests. The original house was erected at the Falls, but the business was removed to its present site about two years after the erection of the bridge. Mr Cameron is referred to in another article as a member of the Mataura Borough Council.
