St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church

St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church is a fine brick building at the corner of Great King and Howe streets, and was erected in the year 1900 at a cost of £3,500, to replace the old wooden building burned down in 1898. The building stands on a quarter acre allotment, and there is fine choir gallery with an American organ. There is seating accommodation for 500 people, and the church is well attended during the Sunday services. A large Sunday school, erected at a cost of £1,100 adjoins the church.
