original church, built in 1855, part of the aisle still remains and forms a portion of the present church, but it is expected that the work of alteration and reconstruction will be completed by the time of the church's jubilee in 1905, when the church will be a finished stone building of exceptional architectural beauty. The present new part of the building consists of the chancel and transepts. It is of stone, was built in 1876, and forms a portion of the design for the completed building. At present there is accommodation for 420 worshippers, and there are the usual Sunday and weekly services. A well-trained surpliced choir, and an auxiliary ladies' choir, help to conduct the musical portions of the service, and the organ is considered a very fine one. The Sunday school is attended by eighty-one boys and 108 girls.
