The Waiotahi Gold Mining Company, Limited

The Waiotahi Gold Mining Company, Limited, was formed in 1871. Its property, consisting of about twenty acres, is situated on the Thames goldfields. Since its inception the company has been remarkably successful, having produced £180,000 worth of gold at a cost of £144,000. The company's capital is now £18,000, in £3 shares. The mine has been continuously worked, and up to the present time (1901) the company has paid away in dividends £38,000.
