Dexter And Crozier
Dexter And Crozier (Reuben Arthur Dexter and David Crozier), Cycle Importers, Victoria Street, Auckland. This well-known firm was founded in 1896. The business premises contain a large show-room, with offices at the front, and behind there is a large repairing shop, with lathes, a forge, and brazing and enamelling plant. Messrs Dexter and Crozier deal in “Rambler” cycles as a special line. These well-known machines are manufactured by Messrs Gormully and Jeffery, of Chicago, one of the oldest cycle manufacturing firms in the United States of America. The object of the manufacturers has been to turn out the very best bicycles, and they claim to have succeeded in this important aim. Messrs Dexter and Crozier do a large business in these well-known machines, which are deservedly popular amongst cyclists.
