Grafton Road Wesleyan Church

Grafton Road Wesleyan Church, is under the dual charge of the Rev. Hy. R. Dewsbury and Rev. J. T. Pinfold. The present structure replaced the old building erected in 1866 and now used as a schoolroom. The church occupies the site of the original native collegiate institution, since removed to the Three Kings; consequently unusual interest attaches to it on account of past associations. The present building was opened and dedicated to public worship page 230 in July 1885, and is capable of seating 500 persons. The church also possesses a powerful, sweet-toned organ, which was presented to the congregation by Mr. W. B. White, one of the late trustees.
