The Rev. W. M. Du Rieu

The Rev. W. M. Du Rieu, M.A., Incumbent of St. Thomas's, took the B.A. degree at St. John's, Cambridge, in 1867, and the M.A. degree, with a third-class in the Moral Sciences Tripos, in 1870. He was ordained deacon in 1867, and priest in 1868, by Bishop Tait, of London, and appointed curate of St. Mary Magdalene, Paddington. He held the curacy from 1867 to 1869, and subsequently at St. Barnabas, Pimlico, from 1869 to 1879, St. Peter's, Sudbury, from 1879 to 1882; Church of Ascension, Lavender Hill, from 1883 to 1884; and was appointed to his present incumbency in 1885.
