Mr. Graham Bruce

Mr. Graham Bruce, B.A., London University and Principal of King's College, Remuera, Auckland, was born at Finchley near London in 1863. He was educated at the University School at Hastings. On leaving school he was trained as a teacher in London, at the same time studying for the University degree for which he graduated with honours in 1888 and was appointed vice-principal of Wellington College in Shropshire, England. In consequence of his breaking down through ill-health, he came out to Auckland, when he became together with Rev. P. S. Smallfield, one of the principals of St. John's College, Tamaki, which position he held for five years, when he opened the King's College, Remuera.
