Dick is another person eminently qualified for his job. He has the most amazing technique with flies that you'll ever see and the way he manages his boys — well, it's a proper treat.

"The world is one great big bird" was Dick's explanation of why he prefers to stand in the wings. However, you, the audience, will doubtless see Dick some time during the show. He is the little mechanical dog that goes yapping across the stage in the second half.

Stage Managers are very versatile people.
