"Sydal" [Registered] FORMERLY KNOWN AS Wiltons Hand Emollient This preparation has been very extensively imitated, and in order to stop this imposition the name "Sydal" has been registered with the Patent Office, and appears on the capsule of every jar. The name "Sydal" is easily remembered, for it is the word "Ladys"reversed Please accept no substitute. "SYDAL" is a Skin Cleanser It is unlike other preparations, for it is made without any fat. grease, vaseline, or any oily substance, consequently when applied it penetrates the cuticle or outside skin and exercises its soothing and healing qualities upon the inner skin, so that the skin is stimulated to healthy action. Preparations containing grease do not act in this way but close up the pores and only have effect on the outside of the skin. "SYDAL" Keeps the hands soft and white, rids the skin of chaps, roughness, and redness, and is a remarkably good healing ointment, being excellent for abrasions of the skin, sores, scars, old wounds, burns, etc. DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR CLEANING HANDS.—Rub a little "Sydal" well into the skin for a few minutes and then wash with soap and water in the usual way. For keeping the hands and face soft and white, and maintaining the skin in a healthy condition, rub a little"Sydal" into the skin before retiring at night. For making the hands soft and supple rub "Sydal" well into the joints at night, and wear a pair of old gloves which should be kept for the purpose. It is used in this way by several well-known pianists in Wellington who find that it helps them wonderfully with their technique. "Sydal" will effectually remove the uncomfortable sensation and dryness felt by the hands after a day's toil at the wash-tub. Doctors and nurses find it excellent to use after washing their hauds in antiseptics. One prominent medical practitioner regards it as an indispensable adjunct of the physician's bag. "Sydal" should be on every lady's toilet table ready for use. Sold by Chemists and Stores at 1s 6d per jar A sample will be sent post free to any address on application. Give the sample a fair trial.
