ELECTIONS? ELECTIONS? VICTORIA UNIVERSITY OF WELLINGTON STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION Applications were called on 3 July and will close on 14 July for Officers of the Association Executive for the Calendar Year of 1971. The eight positions to be contested are as follows: President Woman Vice-President Man Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Cultural Affairs Officer Publications Officer Sports Officer YES Treasurer: The Constitution of the Association provides that, wherever possible, the Treasurer shall be a qualified accountant or a person holding the degree of Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Commerce and Administration with Accountancy to Stage 2. Publications Officer: The Constitution also provides that any person offering himself for election as Publications Officer shall, wherever possible, have been a member of the Publications Board for at least six months before applications for the position close. Applications for any of the above positions must be made on a form available from the Students' Association Office and must be placed in the box provided in that Office.
