Rogelio Guedea

Rogelio Guedea, born in Mexico in 1974, is poet, essayist, novelist and translator. He is the author of more than forty books, amongst which are poetry, essay, narrative, interview and translation. Some of his recent books are: The crime of Los Tepames (Random House Mondadori, 2013), which has hit the bestsellers list in Mexico and was in the top five for three weeks after it was released, The compass of Seneca: handbook of philosophy for disoriented people (Grupo Almuzara, 2014) and Si no te hubieras ido/If only you hadn't gone (Cold Hub Press, 2014). He is a columnist for the Mexican newspapers La Jornada Semanal and SinEmbargoMx and currently the coordinator of the Spanish Programme at the University of Otago.
